Thankyou for your valued experience, strength & hope, particularly to Bicyclemechanic, Maybee. Let's keep the rest of our sharing clean & of a principles before personalities nature. Thankyou :) Welcome to MIP. I'm glad Sobriety is working out for you 1Day@aTime. Ps. Don't make me come in here again ;) lol Godbless, Danielle x

If you are in the program, why did you come here a couple months ago with 2 posts downing AA and its basic principles?  Is one of the defects you are talking about trying to make enemies on purpose? Stirring the pot?  I'm confused.  Anyhow, if were sober, and read enough posts on here you'd know the St. Pete part of Dean's name is due to where he lives, not because he's self annointed.  Either way, I'm glad you at least introduced yourself as an alcoholic.  That's a good part of step 1.  Keep working those steps.

Aloha Maybee...It is exactly one of the reason I am in recovery that I was raised
as I was raised.  I've always got the other story here...always and have been left
to take was I liked and leave the rest.  A scary part of the recovery trip was pre-
paring myself for surgery...ego surgery and humility implants.  It was and still is
necessary for me and I am grateful to the program for supporting me thru it.

Keep working it and coming back.  (((((hugs))))) smile

Hi Maybee,

Maybee, for me, I had to un-learn just about everything I learned
back then. Then re-learn the whole thing over, using the 12 Steps of this Program.

" A scary part of the recovery trip was pre-
paring myself for surgery...ego surgery and humility implants".

Sorry Jerry, that was too priceless not to copy you. So very true!

There really are mostly, if not all, humble people here, hope you will stay
here and find that out.

Welcome,
Toni
