If you are in the program, why did you come here a couple months ago with 2 posts downing AA and its basic principles? Is one of the defects you are talking about trying to make enemies on purpose? Stirring the pot? I'm confused. Anyhow, if were sober, and read enough posts on here you'd know the St. Pete part of Dean's name is due to where he lives, not because he's self annointed. Either way, I'm glad you at least introduced yourself as an alcoholic. That's a good part of step 1. Keep working those steps.

Aloha Maybee...It is exactly one of the reason I am in recovery that I was raised as I was raised. I've always got the other story here...always and have been left to take was I liked and leave the rest. A scary part of the recovery trip was pre- paring myself for surgery...ego surgery and humility implants. It was and still is necessary for me and I am grateful to the program for supporting me thru it.
