I have just come off the 'phone to my Mum. She is going to have a series of scans and tests tomorrow and I know that she is very worried about the results.
She has a tumour on her parathyroid gland, which is making her very ill, and we'll soon know just how bad or otherwise it is. She has always been such a strong presence and I can't bear to see her so ill and worried.
I'm praying so much for her, but any additional prayers would be so welcome.

Ooooh Queztal! My heart goes out to your family! I know this kind of fear and would not wish it on anyone! You have my hope and prayers for a good outcome.
Father, God, I know that you Love this family very much, and I know that you are all-wise and all-powerful. Sometimes we don't understand, Lord, and we are afraid, like the disciples in the boat in the storm. Help us to trust You, Lord, no matter what happens. Have mercy on us, Lord. Reassure this family that everything will ultimately work out for good. You make the crooked ways straight, and the mountains level for us who are weak. Have mercy on us, O Lord, on your great Love.

Oh, absolutely Carol. Prayers are powerful indeed. I wrote you off forum, I've been dealing with hyperparathyroidism for years because I'm a coward when it comes to surgery. I know the fear of just hearing the name put me in a spin. Give your Mum a hug, support really helps with this kind of fear, and my prayers are with you both. I know this is frightening for family, too. Love Wren

Just wanted to let you know she is in my prayers, you as well. To help keep you strong for your mother. I can relate to you right now, before my mom pasted on she was very sick. Lost both parents in the last 3 in half years.
My mother died in accident and my father past on with termnal cancer, this past July. Stay strong and keep close to ur higher power.
