What makes a small online auction worth joining as a seller?

My neighbor takes beautiful photos of old storefronts, and our community group wants to auction a few prints to raise money for new park benches. None of us has sold art online before. Were debating whether to list the prints on a general marketplace or keep the auction within the group. What would make the process fair, simple, and enjoyable for buyers and sellers?

A marketplace could help if your community group is small, but agree on the practical details first. My cousin sold pottery online and spent more time sorting out packaging than making the listings. Decide who covers delivery, what happens if a print arrives damaged, and when the artist gets paid.

Id ask your neighbor what they want from the auction before choosing a site. My friend once donated drawings to a school fundraiser and was happy to meet local buyers, but didnt want to handle shipping. A group auction suited her better than a wider marketplace. Someone in our planning chat brought up ClickASnap reviews while we were discussing where artists share work online, though that was a separate conversation from organizing bids. Clear deadlines and pickup plans made the fundraiser easier for everyone.
