I've been trying to use standard AI chatbots to help with my advanced inorganic chemistry assignments, but they are absolutely terrible at it. They keep making up chemical reactions that don't exist or completely messing up complex concepts. Has anyone found an app or website that actually understands high-level college science without constantly generating wrong answers?

Yeah, standard language models are notorious for hallucinating math and science facts because they don't actually compute the logic; they just predict the next word. For upper-level chemistry, you are much better off asking for help on dedicated science subreddits or discord servers. Sometimes you just have to grind through it with your professor during office hours because most generic tech isn't built for STEM majors.

There are so many generic homework apps out there, but most of them fail completely when it comes to advanced science topics. I spent hours searching for the best chemistry AI solver online that could handle molecular orbital theory. I finally found a dedicated tool that processes complex formulas accurately without hallucinating random fake elements.
