Looking for reliable brake services in Lower Bucks County
Permalink

Ive been hearing some squeaking and a slight grinding when braking over the past few weeks, especially during slow stops or after the cars been sitting overnight. Im in the Lower Bucks County area and want to get the brakes checked before it turns into something worse (or more expensive). Im not looking for a chain like Midas or Pep Boys would rather go with a local shop that actually takes pride in what they do. Any suggestions?

I had a very similar issue last winter with my 2014 Toyota Camry. Ended up being worn pads and slightly warped rotors from heat cycling. I tried a couple of places in the area, and the one I ended up sticking with was VIP Service Center in Bristol. What I appreciated was that they didnt just slap on new parts they explained the condition of each component and gave me options based on budget and driving habits (I commute a lot).

Plus, the fact that their team is ASE-certified gave me confidence not just someone guessing under the hood. Their shops not huge, but the attention to detail is solid. You can check them out here Car overheating: https://www.vip-servicecenter.com/  the site lays out their brake services pretty clearly. I also liked that they didnt pressure me into fixing something that wasnt a problem yet, just gave me an honest heads-up. Its worth giving them a call if youre nearby.
