TODAY: My 46th ANNIVERSARY OF SOBRIETY

I have a smile on my face TODAY emanating from my heart and soul; my gratitude of a wonderful life God has given me through SOBRIETY...but that long day 46 years ago on the brink of death seems only like yesterday...a life of 30 years of failure....The guy who hired me on, several years before for my job on Wall Street, told me and a few others who were present....That the reason we were hired was that we were Americas best...I'll drink to that.. I sure proved him wrong...a 24/7 drunk found several heartbeats from death...raised up...a new man the next day...God had other thoughts. .the Gift of sobriety came with accessories...a new life...Not a life of ease but a life that meant and means something to me..."To thine own self be True"

At 76 I am in perfect health....I just hiked 3 miles in a slow jog and completed 100 push-ups in 4 sets of 25 in under 15 minutes. I am currently in Indonesia till next week then flying to Bangkok to get my visa to China for 3 month stay, working on my conversational Mandarin...but before heading to China directly back down the beach in Thailand for a couple of months with friends.

Do I have any WISDOM for New Comers A BIG YES....When things get tough.. and the SH** hits the wall our EMOTIONS cam get out of whack before the LESSONS that are acquired can settle that strong obsession to drink down.. "WE all experience that in the beginning...SO I smiled when I saw "U TUBE direct link...LOL..."This will help better than a cup of lemon tea"....Dance...shout cry...throw and punch pillows... BUT NEVER GIVE UP...God tests us I know.....

When all the tears are shed and you come out the other side STRONGER SOBRIETY....My recommendation: copy and paste this URL:

www.tomassailor.com/rainbow.html    It's a true experience....."It will put a smile back in your heart and soul...I KNOW

Percival was a mythological medieval legendary figure who sought to find the HOLY GRAIL...I think I found it...PEACE OF MIND...and a FAITH in God's judgment...

Hey Thomas, Congrats! Hope you never made it to China and that you're safe now.
