i am new here. I am 8 months and 9 days sober all for the grace of God. I look forward to making some friends and getting support. Heres my Question. I am suffering from nueropathy and we believe its from alcohol  I have diabetes but just diagnosed and drs are pretty sure not from that since I have not had that long. I would love to find someone that might suffer for advice and support!! Its hard find answers for my question. Thank you and look forward to meeting some new friends

Hello, Nan. Welcome to the forum. Congrats on 8+ months.
I don't know the answer to you seek but there are articles which link neuropathy to alcoholism. Here is one:

www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/peripheral-neuropathy/symptoms-causes/syc-20352061

Hope you get better. Let us know how you're doing.

Have you looked into intermittent fasting? Diet plays a huge role in managing it. We are conditioned to think whenever we feel a slight pang of hunger to dive into a sea of food. Quite the opposite is true. Our bodies actually kick into healing mode during starvation and repairs itself. Processed foods are more poisonous to our organs than probably alcohol is.

Food for thought.
