Hi Again,

Have a Doctor's appt. that take 1 and 1/2 hour to get there, and the  Padras are playing in a field, on the route to Dr.   The game is at 7:00, but with the way the fans need to get there, 6 hours earlier, I am keeping my fingers crossed that I dont spend the whole day in traffic.

Oh well, not going to worry about it, although I am giving myself 2 hours to get there. And if I arrive early, I'll  treat myself to some lunch.

Hope you have a good evening, and glad to hear that you bypassed the sweating, they  might not be coming back, if thats the case, hope so.

Your words in prose, was to me part of the grieving process of letting the Alcohol go, something that was a requirement when I went through this Recovery home many years ago.  A grief letter to Alcohol.  Good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So God Bless you dear, feels like you are on the Path, I have you in my Prayer's, and when I was getting all cozy in bed last night, thinking of you sleeping sober again, put a smile on my face as I drifted off to sleep.

Hugs,  Your Sissy, Toni

yeha.. the first night i wrote the kinda poetic thingy to alcohol.. i actualy felt kinda gulity. like i was puttin an old friend out in the cold.. like being disloyal.. duno if that makes any sense.. maybe cos i was so tired..

Glad to put smile on your face..

well tonihts gona be a longer one cos im home early on fridays as i said.. .. duno how tonight will work out.. I'm not doing the day thing at the moment.. more the minute/hour thing at the mo..

My dad had day off work and went fishing at the local lake and had a realy good day and caught alot of fish.. so i gota get my arse there this weekend. probably sunday... hardly done any fishing this year and caught absolutely nothing!  So would be great to have good days fishing actualy catching something..

Hi Again,

It's a baseball team, big stuff around here, not a fan myself, the traffic jams, just get on my nerves.

A lot of RADICAL fans.

Actually, when I said the Grief Letter to Alcohol,  It was a Grief Letter to my Best Friend, Alcohol,  it did serve me well, until it turned on me.  That's when the Cucumber has turned into a Pickle. So you are right on Track with you thinking,  it was a good friend, that has betrayed you.    And will continue to Betray you.  I don't look at it as a former friend anymore,  I look at it now as the Great Deceiver, that is what it turned out to be, was never really a friend, something that was just setting me up.  Deceitful as Hell can be.  But when we are in the beginning of Recovery it feels like we are letting an "old friend" go,  that's just the Alcohol doing it's final number on us.   Never was a friend, but the best con artist ever, in my life.

Hugs to you, and I'll get there to the Doctor, at least that's my goal.

Think I will take some good cd's with me, just in case.

Bye for today, and have a peaceful nite.

Love, Toni

Here's a link to the Padres' official website:

http://sandiego.padres.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/index.jsp?c_id=sd

prose basically means that it is not ryhming...  so words are written in either poetry, if it has rythm and rhyme,,  or prose if it is just natural...   does that help?
