In need of help

I just currently completed rehab and came back to where I thought was "home" to all of my belongings in a storage unit that I can't even get to no car & now homeless due to my controlling fiancee ( I was a stay at home mother while he worked) he is also in recovery and could careless about my situation. I've called locally for county funding also contacted non profit organizations and welfare. NO ONE will help. All I want to do is stay sober and move into sober living but it's hard when your bank account gets emptied and you have zero family support. I try to walk to meetings I call people on my meeting list. I just need help with funding and I don't know what to do from here. I have never been in this position. I know my children are safe but they need their sober mother if I end up at a rescue mission I know it's all down hill from there.

Hey there Halliday3' ...

There is always Hope ... I donate regularly to our local 'Rescue Mission' and they have many stories of getting others 'back on their feet' ... Yes, it involves supplying food and shelter to begin with, but develops into assistance in recovering from, well, life ... they have contacts who direct you on the path to independence ...

The main thing right now is to get to meetings daily ... share your story ... Don't drink or drug ... Have Hope and keep the faith ...

I went to multiple meetings every day in the beginning ... it was hard, but it saved my life ... my life finally became worth something ...

Love you and God Bless,
Pappy

Thank you for the positive response. I am reaching out to people in AA to help with sober living they recommended I start a GoFundMe so I'm praying I'll be in a house with sober women soon.

Good. If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done. Life happens in them uncomfortable zones. You have obviously spent enormous amounts of time trying to get comfy. How'd that work out for you?

If you need money get a job. Besides, it's a requirement to have one if you live in a sober house. Them houses aren't there to keep you sober. They are there for you to develop structure.
