My gratitude to all of you, who have made my journey in sobriety, such a joy. To my many brothers and sisters on this forum, words cannot express my thankfulness for all your shares. During my saddest moments, you held me and prayed for me. With the loss of my dear grandson Nathanael last year, you held me close to your hearts. I could feel God's love through you.
This is my joyful year, and I want to share it with you. With the successful birth of my grandson Timothy on the 18 July. My joy is complete. Both tribulations and happiness are the ingredients which God gives me, in an emotional mixture, to strengthen me all round for His glory.
To newcomers, the 12 steps work. I am proof of it, in good times and not so good times, God is with us.
Congratulations go out to you my Brother ... The feelings you expressed from this board are the same feelings I got from the prayers of those here ... during not only recovery from alcoholism, but on a more personal health issue as well ... Thanks to God for granting His miracles among us ... only He knows how many we have been blessed with ... may we remain forever in His favor ...
Love ya man and God Bless, Pappy

I'm Marc and I'm Alcoholic. As you progress in AA your life will change. Guaranteed. In my case it was having some real fun and joy in life. My childhood sucked canal water. As an Adult in AA I have been given the opportunity to live some of the fun kid stuff I would have liked. Resources were not available in my family environment so there was no joy. yuck. In your post I was under the impression you wanted a little something to bring on a smile. Course I could be wrong... But anyhow here is my best guess. Just recently a Special Buddy of mine named 'Bunny' escaped from our HomeStead. He is Tall, Furry and looks like a SuperSized RockyRacoon. He is fun to be around and kids love him. We also call him 'BigFuzzyNuts'. If you stay in AA long enough you are quite likely to meet him and if you do could you please tell him he is needed back at the Ranch. He understands English very well and has a little something for you.
Congrats Roman, ... 24 days is HUGE ... took me forever, it seems, to get 24 days ... now it's been over 8 years ... let me tell you, it's worth it ... I'd be dead now had I not sought help ...
Love ya and God Bless, Pappy
