I need to start going to meetings again. I looked at the weekly schedule and there's an OBB meeting at 630 tonight. I've never been to one, can I go there and just listen? Jen
I don't know what an OBB meeting is specifically ('Open' meeting + 'Big Book' meeting maybe?).
The local listing that is showing that meeting should include some info about what those little 'codes' mean.
But regardless of what those letters mean, you can go to ANY meeting and just listen.
I agree with Dave , Jen . O is for an open meeting , here in Aussie . BBS is . Big Book Study . It may mean . That , primarily,
it is a Big book , study meeting , but if you need to share on "alcoholism related" issues , you are free to do so . But for the
convenience of going to a city meeting , prior to dinner . We would go to the Gay & Lesbian 6pm meeting at Kings Cross , in
Sydney . I knew a Lot of these folk , who went to Open meetings around the city of Sydney area . To me .
A meeting is a meeting , Go to it.
