Well, ShitHappens because Forrest Gump said so...
But that ain't reason enough to go get drunk, now is it?
I'm glad you agree. :)

Was bored and felt like posting something silly.

Shit happens because whatever we consume, we must later defecate.

Oh what a thought provoking metaphor on many levels.

Some AA sh1t on the matter... "Driven by a hundred forms of fear, self-delusion, self-seeking, and self-pity, we step on the toes of our fellows and they retaliate. Sometimes they hurt us, seemingly without provocation, but we invariably find that at some time in the past we have made decisions based on self which later placed us in a position to be hurt.

So our troubles (sh1t), we think, are basically of our own making.

Good thing the "take what you like, leave the rest" slogan exists. Not all of our problems originate from our own bad decisions.

Or maybe it is the 'LollaPalooza Effect'. :)

I've seen attendance at meetings vary greatly at times. Could be cyclical.

I ask myself that. Every day. And when the cause of the question overwhelms me, I usually drink.

That action has never solved any problem.

Life is hard. God never promised us easy. And He never said it would be fair.

I say this as someone who drank yesterday, so take it for what it's worth. But I know the answer and I choose to ignore it.

Let's help one another.

I got completely ape-drunk at a party last night. I was very grateful to be invited, because I was new in town.

I awoke today feeling very ashamed about getting so drunk, so I revisited the place today, knocked on the door, and the hostess answered. I told her how much I appreciated the invitation, and I sincerely apologized for getting so inebriated. I added that she had a very beautiful home, telling her the home was very special and well-appointed, like something we might see and read about in Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. I further noted that my favorite touch was the gold-plated toilet in the upstairs bathroom.

"HEY HARRY!" she shouted over her shoulder. "IT'S THE GUY THAT SHIT IN YOUR TUBA!"
