WINONA, Minn. (AP) A man has a pretty good excuse for why he crashed his car into a utility pole in Winona: his dog puked on him. The Winona Daily News reported police found the car unattended last Thursday morning against an Xcel Energy pole. Witnesses told officers they saw a man leaving the area and walking a beagle.
The 18-year-old, who does not have insurance or a Minnesota driver's license, called police about four hours later to confess.
The man told police he was driving when his dog started "throwing up all over him." Deputy Police Chief Tom Williams said the story checked out police found vomit in the car.
The pole had only minor damage. The man was cited for driving without insurance or a license.
Don't know 'bout him, ... but the beagle probably needs some help ... ya know, I like meet'ns that allow dogs ...
Reminds me, years ago I had a friend that had a dog that loved beer ... the 'down' side here, was every time the dog drank beer, he tended to let out some of the god awful-est farts known to man ... so when we were out on a company picnic one time, I snuck some beer to his dog Bud, and when everything was over, we had a 2-hour drive back to our home town ... the guy came in Monday cuss'n like a sailor and try'n to find out who gave Bud the beer, cause he said Bud farted all the way home, make'n him gag so much he nearly started throw'n up ... our whole crew thought it was hilarious ... (oh, I wasn't the only one give'n Bud the beer, several others followed suit, LOL ... ) ...
