I've been absent way too long and missed this board and everyone on it.then keeping everyone here in my prayers and thoughts every day. The new home is coming along nicely and all the work is good therapy for me. I've had more drama than I care to type out (and more than anyone wants to read haha), but the highlights are...the knee replacement is healing well, I'm back on my feet keeping busy...I confronted two robbers and ran them off (I guess I'm scary at 3am in my PJs), all the medical needs I've been dreading and postponing are underway and being faced head on and sober...mom's cancer surgery has been successful so far...and the best part is staying sober through it all. There's strength in weakness...funny how that works. I also know not to get too complacent because it could change in a flash. I'm just grateful, even on the rough days...one day at a time!

Hey there Coogi, ... very happy to hear from you... good to know my prayers and those from others are being heard ... very glad you're healing and to know your mom is doing well also ... I know about the rough days in this type situation ... what scared me most of your post was about the robbers ... I'd like to hear more of that experience ... how big was your gun ??? ...
And for those of you keeping me in your prayers also, I want you to know they are working ... for only the 3rd time in 2 months, I had a great day today ... my pain level was nearly non-existent today ... wow ... I'd forgotten what it felt like to feel good ... and the best part ??? ... NO PAIN PILLS today ... my Doc is going to love that ... hope and pray that those of us going through medical issues continue to have better days ...
