Am I missing summat? I read see hear the word God throughout the book the programme from the mouths of others. As I understand it, it's a God of your own understanding. (In my case gods and godesses) I'll happily accept others have a different conception to me. I'll even accept some people use an inanimate object as a higher power. I even like Good Orderly Direction, or Group Of Drunks. Or the power of example. I'll listen to you when you tell me about your god but please....don't disrespect me when I say thanks that's not for me. I wear a symbol of my faith....don't tell me I'm wrong. Dont tell me im a satanist. If you dont know or dont understand, then ask, not attack. You wear a symbol of your faith, I won't tell you you're wrong and I'm right. What happened to respect? If you choose to evangelise from a top table then I'll challenge you with the preamble. Pish. Rant off.

But in sobriety I learned to Turn th H P switch on .

I Also Thank that Power MANY times throughout My day .

I agree Bill. Some folks have an agenda to toss their personal religion into AA. Not good.
