OKAY .... Mama's and Papa's ... I'm still kick'n ... LOL ...
Sorry guys ... Last couple weeks have been hectic ... little, if any time to chat ... my youngest, the one that's quadriplegic, had to call 911 3 times in the last two weeks ... he has partial use of his arms and hands and he developed severe pain in his back that was causing him to lose what little feel'n he has in his arms ... scared him to death, cause without that, he'd have to be hand fed plus a lot of new difficulties ... ADD to that, my need to be work'n my garden diligently, AND some late 'side effects' of my radiation therapy, and I barely have time to use the bathroom OR sleep, LOL ... (it really isn't that funny) ...
I call my next door neighbor 'Mama' cause she's always calling and check'n up on me (since my stroke in February) ... she's borderline, a 'pest', LOL ...
For those of you that do have a 'higher power' and/or believe in God, Prayers for my son are very welcome ... (hadn't heard from Gonee about how his grandson is do'n ... anybody know anything I don't, ???) ...
Love you guys soooo much, thanks for caring, and God Bless ya, Pappy
P.S. the garden ... took this picture this A.M. to show my Doctor (he gardens too)

Soooo that's a real garden? where are the weeds? aren't there supposed to be weeds too!! Good job Pappy and thanks for the shout out. Prayers of course going out for your son...that has got to me a major concern for him and the rest of the family. Happy Akua has you there with him and with a program. Stepping up with "Mamma" in the caring department. ((((hugs))))
Praying for your son and you, Pappy. (Your gardens a-growing! You'll be a pickin' and a grinin' before you know it!)
LMAO ... ... ... I 'pick-n-grin' all the time ... ... ... and I'll not elaborate, LOL ... I'll leave that to your imagination ...
My son is still in a lot of pain, but he drove his Van today for the first time in a month ... yeah ... maybe Mama will be coming home soon, I hope ... I just want to thank all y'all that had us in your prayers, we ARE making 'progress' ...
Love ya and God Bless,
Pappy

I was saddened to hear of your grandson's latest condition ... I was once told by an AA member that God only puts these conditions on those who can handle it by getting even closer to Him ... ... ... I pray that God's will be done for your grandson ... and that it will make you and your family a stronger unit because of the situation ... God knows of the extreme difficulties that lay ahead should your grandson be spared ... (I have a 40 y/o handicapped son from birth, I know of which I speak) .... May God be with you and your family and grant you the strength and love to get through this period ...
My prayers go out to you, God Bless, Pappy

Pap...just took another look at your garden and compared it to mine outside...no comparison mine looks natural and all jungley and stuff. I can get sticks to grow straight up like you can. Are those edible? I will be making another attempt with mine this afternoon and will take an impression of yours out with me however I doubt that it will stick in my mind as yours doesn't look real. lol I do taro or kalo and pineapple and papaya and stuff...sustainable stuff.
Ah yes, the sticks are coming along well ... AND very tasty ... LMAO ...
Oh, I do a lot of weeding as you might guess, and the sticks of course are for the tomatoes (some people use cages) ... Taro, pineapple, and papaya sound great ... wonder if I could grow those here ??? ...
Yesterday was 104 degrees F here with the humidity, the 'feels like' was @ 117 degrees ... that's August weather ... if this continues, it may burn my plants up (unless I spend a small fortune on 'WATER') ...
Mahalo E Ke Akua No Keia La,
Pappy
