I went to my first meeting solo tonight. I got lost on the way there and didn't think I'd make it but got there with two minutes to spare! I walked up to the building and was very nervous! I saw three men standing at the door and asked if this was the meeting, they said yep and we are it! This kinda freaked me out being a small group, I obviously wouldn't be able to blend into the background!! But I was able to remain calm and they were really great telling their stories.... I could relate to what each of them said! It really was a positive experience, and I'm looking forward to attending my next meeting :)
Good for you!!! Not sure if this was mentioned on the other posting you did....it was suggested that I attend 90 meetings for 90 days, which I did well over this amount.
That is AWESOME news, Arle. I promise you that you will find it easier and easier to do this now that you have gone to your first solo meeting. I encourage you to please keep up that momentum! We're all cheering for you.
