Putting things into perspective....It's 85 degrees outside...with the added sun factor...Hot...Hot and Hotter...I'm wearing a Vail Colorado..Light weight ski jacket because the AC is so cold in the library where I do my professional writing..that without it..Pneumonia would be assured. My current head cold abating because I forgot it last Friday.
My life is absolutely the best because of AA the steps and my spiritual relationship to God...Who actually spoils me with blessings....but believe me I work for them....
My Sobriety Is Contingent on My Spiritual Well Being...Just for Today
Glad to hear you're being spoiled with 'blessings' from above ... so am I ... as long as I maintain my spiritual 'well being' also ... however, I have never felt in any way that my good deeds have ever gotten me anywhere close to 'deserving' them ...
Just say'n ... I feel it's only by 'Grace' that we receive what we get ... whether it can ever be 'deserved' or not ...

Keep on keeping on Amigo...we don't have a ton of control most of the time and for me having any control with the tools of the program puts me a leg up most of the time. "I am powerless" cues me toward Higher Power and unmanageability is not the desired consequence any longer. Keep coming back.
