My personal recovery.

The great thing about AA recovery, is the freedom to chose. It's in this environment that I best see the recovery of the individual, from alcoholism.
When I came into AA in 1988, I made an investment in my recovery. I bought all the literature that was available at that time, sought the best sponsorship, listened to religious people, and worked with the still suffering. I read and studied "AA comes of Age" and "Pass it on" together with AA's basic text. These books were written with blood, sweat and tears and the pages reflect it.
My monetary investments, have all disappeared, but my recovery from alcoholism has remained intact and grown in all these years.
Thank God for that!

Whenever I am tired, I can rest with my wonderful God and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has been my rock on which my life and my recovery has been sustained. Thank You Lord. Amen.
