Checking in after 60 days
Permalink

Well its been 60 days, I picked my 30 day chip after we last spoke, I relapsed, My new 30 days is May 6. I have no more desire to drink & drug except when calamities arise but so far through calling my sponsor twice a day, going to a meeting every day I'm better able to work through, also through prayer and meditation leaning on God as my higher power. I have worked all the way through step six, but am seeing where I have to work on a new situation with step 4. prayers greatly needed, my play ground is/was my neighbor which is hard to get away from unless I keep my garage door closed which looks directly on to her side porch where they sit on and use.  This is my Quite place I prepared for me in my garage to read AA books and devotional books and spending time with God

Hey, welcome back. Keep yourself in the middle of the lifeboat. It makes it way easier to stay out of the water when things get rough.

Hey hopee...I was thinking about you the other day. Glad you are well...And I love the quiet area you set up. I'm thrilled to hear you are moving forward with the steps...Sending you prayers...Keep moving forward...And glad to see you back....Don't be a stranger. We need you here.

(((((gonee))))))
I am glad you are alright. I worry so much about people on the board who stop posting. I am glad that you are working the steps and staying sober. I understand about the neighbors thing....we had a couple we drank with and no longer can be around them as they drink all times of the day.
I love the area you study in. So bright and cheerful! Thanks for sharing and thanks for posting and letting us know how you are doing.
