Sober Quote for the Day
Permalink

"Though they knew they must help other alcoholics if they would remain sober, that motive became secondary. It was transcended by the happiness they found in giving themselves for others. They shared their homes, their slender resources and gladly devoted spare hours to fellow-sufferers."

( I usually spend several minutes trying to find just the right quotation to post. I found this one right away and I find it timely as well as comforting.)

Phil,
Love your cartoon--you know, I may have been able to stay in AA if we had a set up like this one of those times when I went out.
On second thought, probably fooling myself about that, unless those bags were made of steel and I couldn't wedge a beer or wine bottle through them.
