It is SO good to hear from you.

Benny, it gets better, guaranteed. Glad you still have your family. Thats a biggy!

"This Too Shall Pass" keep that in your pocket, because it really does get smoother! The first few days, weeks of Recovery are very difficult for most of us, (in memory) and I personally like to keep that memory alive. It helps me.

Glad you are going to a meeting tomorrow, are you thinking yet, about asking for a sponsor, that would really help. But going to a meeting every day, don't drink in between, is the good ole' recipe for Recovery, first few days, and first weeks,
and by then, hopefully, you will want to go back each day.

You have been in my prayers, this has been a tough time for you, and getting on your knees (as you described, is a great thing) Keeps it simple, and keeps it
humble.

So please keep Posting here about your progress WE ARE ALL HERE FOR YOU!
100% + some. You are now securly in Phil's little boat with us, and we all love you!

Love and a Big hug, Toni

hey, Benny..  I'm glad things are going well,,, and that you thought of us to share the good news. I'm glad your wife is standing by you and that you both are going to work on things. You've made a good beginning. When you get to the f2f look and see if they have the '12 X 12' book, and the Big Book. I'm picky about sponsors, and don't latch on right away to someone I don't know, but it will happen that you will notice someone who is regular and shares wisdom that you will want to ask when the time is right,,, and you will also notice people who are gung ho to be a sponsor, but who haven't 'gotten it' yet themselves.

talk to you soon, I'm glad you are here with us in God's little boat,

amanda
