Merry Christmas!!! Love the kitten pictures! Thanks for sharing them. Seeing these pics at Christmas reminds me of our much-loved tomcat named Cleo. We acquired him as a tiny kitten, but he became a great big loveable tabby tomcat with a very loving personality. Cleo loved two things in his life the most; the kids, and Christmastime. He pretty much raised our 2 youngest children, and saw himself as in charge of them, and played with them all the time. At Christmas, he was at the height of his glory -- couldn't get enough of Christmas. He sat and watched the twinkling tree for hours and slept under it as long as we had it up -- day and night. Christmas bows were one of his favorite things. And, all the decorations and bows and presents were his toys to play with.
Several years ago, on Christmas Eve, he crawled under the Christmas tree and died peacefully among the presents of kidney failure at age 16. He's still part of Christmas for our family. Mike D.
Reminds me of my favorite cat, 'Booger' ... a black 'n white cat with white face and a black oblong spot under one nostril, ergo 'Booger' ... LOL ... he lived about 14 to 15 years with us, I still miss him ... and there are some good stories of his past that still crack me up today ... ... ...

Such sweeeet pictures!!! Mike, your story brought tears to my eyes. We had a cat named "Freddie". He loved catnip. We bought him a package of it, wrapped it up and put it under the tree. On Christmas Eve we went out and did our traditional visits to family members. When we came back, Freddie had unwrapped his presents, as well as a few which were on top of his catnip one. Wrapping paper and ribbons strewn around all over the living room, bits of catnip here and there, and a very relaxed and "drunk" cat sleeping near the tree.
("Booger"! Pappy, you crack me up!)
