    Hola Pappy!

Have you ever sat back and just noticed how your perspective and changed?  Quietly, with no warning, just over time.   When I read your reply I thought about your words.  I way like, how do I relate to what you are contributing..

Over the years, I have totally changed how I see the morning.  It is almost magical.  I get up about 3 hours and change before I have to be at work.  I always play guitar for at least a half hour, today was an hour.  I chat with the wife, who is a very cool rock and roll chic, and we have coffee and watch the sun rise over the pond and tree tops.

As an active drunk, I hated mornings.   I never enjoyed them.  It was a ritual of shame and pain.

I was looking at your sunrise pics as seeing something that gave me gratitude for a whole new life to enjoy, that was graciously given by my God.

I love the dawning of the new day.  It is a ritual with my sweetie to enjoy.  I even show her the pics!  Ha!

Peace

Hello again Joe, ...

You just described, nearly in exact detail, how I used to be too ... I hated mornings ... my attitude used to be 'I wish those damn birds wouldn't be sooo freakin' loud', and I'd go back in the house ... and when I looked in the mirror to shave and brush my teeth, I'd cuss myself and sometimes spit at the mirror because of how I looked and for what I had become ...

Today is soooo much different ... I was up 2 hours before sunup and enjoyed the day breaking with the birds singing for all they were worth ... I enjoyed the heck out of that ...

Good to know you're in a good place right now, and I'm glad I can now relate to your post, cause I could have written the same about me ... thanks again ...

God Bless,
Pappy
