DONT QUIT

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road youre trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low, and debts are high,
And you want to smile, but have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but dont you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Dont give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when youre hardest hit,
Its when things seem worse, that you must not quit.

I listen to a speaker once who discussed the "grit" that people who have failed develop by getting through the failure.
Hardship increases a persons grit, they become stronger better adjusted people because of the failure or difficulty in life.
Having an obstacle free life may not be the best. I'd like to try it sometimes...hehehe!!

I have had and will continue to have obstacles and failures in my life, I'm human and I live.
But, I will not give up, I will build up my grit and face the next day a bit stronger and a bit wiser.
Thanks to this fellowship of ours and my HP!!
