Moving isn't an option for me.  Not being a woman isn't either.  I'm going to live where it's winter the majority of the time, and I'm going to have PMS for at least 1/4 of the time until I get to go through menopause and have it all the time.

So - it's going to take some work on my part - to not go so far down into the dumps and also to not drag everyone else along with me.  It will be possible.  Everything is possible with a HP working in my life.  With the steps and this program, I will get through not just these things which change the chemical balance in my body - but other things too.  Death, tragedy, catastrophic events and more.  I know it, because I watch you do it.  I know it's possible.  My ailments are real, and they aren't something to ignore.  I can work for peace and serenity a little bit harder sometimes.  Why not me?  Why shouldn't I have to?  Some people live with depression, bi polar, and many other things... but they too can recover, if they have the capacity to be honest.  Their chances are less than average - and they're doing it.  My chances may have been too... and I'm doing it.  Thanks for showing me it's possible all of you out there on MIP.  I love you.

I will never be recovered, but I will be in recovery as long as I work for it, and I'm worth it.  You made me see that.  Today I will help someone else see they are worth it too, and stay in recovery for another 24hrs because of it.

Hi Tasha,

You are doing great in recovery and the hard work shows!

I'm not complaining, but it's been a long crappy/cold spring here also. Just one of those years. I'm usually cutting grass by now but it hasn't been warm enough for the bermuda grass to grow. Where is the global warming when you want it!

Ha! ... menopause ... ... ... my wife had it for about a year, maybe two years, ... all I can say is WOW ... I never knew who would walk in the door, LOL ... ... ... at 80 degrees, she'd be freezing and then at 60 degrees she'd be burning up ... it really is incredible how a woman's body is affected by this ... ... ... thank God that's all gone now ... she got past it and all is great now, rarely any mood swings anymore ... and if they come, they are very minor ...

I really enjoyed this post Tasha! I can relate on many levels... the weather (Canada from Florida YIKES), bi polar and a female. Today I am not feeling well but I am still just in today and loving that I am sober. I can't ask for much more than that. And you help me tremendously, so thank you!
