Just so y'all know that I don't get too hung up on "the date", or the year, I'll tell on myself that I completely missed my 25th year and "tried" to celebrate it on the 26th--home groupers have refused to let me forget it ever since. My "special gratitude countdown" began on April Fool's day, the first day of a subsequent 3-day binge & blackout in '83 that myself and my child were/are god-blessed to have survived. Not at my sobriety date yet, so no projection, just a lot of gratitude. pc.gif

((((Leeu)))) even when you're getting close you still have to do it one day at a time huh?  Forgot a birthday?  Thanks for that info because I didn't get a celebration chip until my 16th year.  I didn't forget...I just didn't celebrate it as a one day at a time person.  Keep coming back ((((hugs)))) smile

Glad you survived to share the hope. I wish you great joy on the birth date of your freedom!

Forgetting an AA anniversary can be a good sign.

Remembering/celebrating one is good, too.

Congrats, leeu, whenever it is
