Not sure how John will feel about using the MIP logo and such on your blog. I also was working as a substance abuse counselor when I hit bottom and entered AA. It doesn't seem like I'm so special now after a few years sober. It just is. Your writing is intuitive and may help some. This site is much like a fellowship and you are of course welcome to join it. It would be better to post basically the things you are musing about here and get feedback. At just over 2 month sober, it would seem this could function as a place for you to ask questions rather than just share from experiences that are still very new. Folks with years of sobriety may be interested in reading the blog of a person with a couple months sober, but we've all been there and that portion of our membership might be more of use to you in answering YOUR questions rather than following your blog.

Not sure who John is but if he does not want me to post my blog here i will remove it from this forum no problem. I just thought I would share my thoughts this time around as a newcomer. I actually walked into AA a few years ago, but did not get the message until recently. I go to meetings and share daily, talk with my sponsor daily and speak with or call three alcoholics a day. I am about to do step 4 (again) and consider myself lucky that I have not lost everything. These and my higher power are keeping me sober. I am no different than other alcoholics in any respect, I just thought it would be good to share my experiences. Davidj
David, no real offense taken, however, I don't believe its in any one's best interest for you to attempt to redirect our group members to your blog, instead of become a "part of" here at Miracles In Progress, and post here just as many others do. If you had a sandwich shop, do you think you'd tolerate me coming to your place of business and putting a poster to my sandwich shop on your front door?
Please remove your references to MIP and especially my MIP logo from your blog site.
Thanks,
John
PS. As a newcomer, instead of doing it your way, you might want to join us, listen to the older members that can actually share what it use to be like, what happened and what its like now, with their personal ES&H. Just a strong suggestion....
