Ellie! Glad you're here! I sobered up (finally) by the Grace of God, looked in the mirror and I WAS old. Spent my life as an alcoholic...There's a line on page 152 of the BB that says,"The most satisfactoy years of your existence lie ahead" That is a promise I'm looking forward to claiming every day.

Seriously though, go to a meeting, get some phone numbers and use them. The people giving you their numbers need you to help them stay sober. You'll be amazed at how much better you'll feel after you've helped someone by letting them help you.
