When I first started my journey in sobriety I found MIP and read and posted as much as I could. This message board, and everyone here, was an absolute lifeline to me. So, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to John for the board and everyone who helped me in my early days of recovery. Today, I celebrate 7 years of wonderful sobriety. Today, I do have a wonderful quality of life and some of the most wonderful friends anyone could ask for. I am so truly blessed. Thank you to everyone here who has been a part of my recovery.

Awesome, Carol! I remember you from when I first started looking around these boards a number of years ago, and how supportive and warm you were to newcomers. Congrats on the 7 years!
Thanks so much everyone! I had a great day with some wonderful AA friends, and celebrating how wonderful my life is now! I really couldn't have done it on my own!!!

Congratulations on Seven Big Ones, Carol! I bet that feels good! We never forget our recovery roots aye You & me too, sister. We spent a lot of time here earlier in sharing in inspiration & the strength that is our steadfast MIP fortitude. Still going strong today I can see with a whole swell of bright, brash & bokd newcomers and longtimers alike blazing through. We're all amazing & truly never alone. Thank you for popping in to share another good time, Carol. Hey, I remember we even spoke on the phone. You live where I was born ;) Long may you flourish 1Day@aTime, Quetzal. God bless you, dear dear sister. Recovery love & fellowship, Danielle x

Carol, Oh my gosh! I had not posted for awhile and recognized so few of the names/people. Nice to hear from you! So happy for you! A big congratulations. You, along with Phil and some others were MY lifelines. (I was 'learning' how to cope with my exAH when I started out here.) So back at you.....thank YOU !!!
