Hello to all on this Forum,

Just want to check in. Thank's to all that contribute to this Forum, I stumbled onto (Well not literally, that's what I use to do).  Only 8 day ago, and I  feel like I've  been here a longer time.

I find this Forum a "Comfort". I told everyone that when I signed on, was living in a new area, didn't any real friends, was having a hard time getting back into meetings. Would Participate in the meetings, and then would find myself, after the meeting, getting into a real lonely space.  I have lived alone for a long time now, but have always had a few good friends.

That changed when I moved here.Just turned 62 and cannot figure out why I am having such a hard time.  I am pretty outgoing, an introverted -Extrovert.

But I know that this is temporary, and will pass.

Just wanted you all to know how grateful I am to this Forum and your being here, and that lonely feeling is not so bad. I owe that to you.

So thanks for being here, I have made myself a member here, and have a personal committment to staying.  God Bless

awww, shucks. Thank you, Toni. I'm glad you found us and are participating. We get just as blessed from your participation as you do. I'm glad it is helping to supplement the other stuff in your life while you adjust to the new place.

Thank you, Toni,  for being here.

Seeing your name makes my OCD kick in! I keep singing the Oscar Mayer song!

"....Oscar Mayer has a name, it's B O L O G N A ! "

I'm glad you're here.

Love and hugs,

Doll

Hi Tony!

Thanxs for the post!  I just recently found this post too.  I like it alot.  I am new to the computer, and it is so wonderful that we can do AA over the internet.  I hope to get to know some really nice people that can be of benifit to my recovery.  It's always nice hearing different feedback.  It's especially great knowing that at any time of the day we can "tune in" to recovery.  Thanxs again, and am hopeing to hear from you again!
