Okay, just so you know I got it ruff too, it's started to rain now and Rose won't go out to Pee-pee unless I go with her ... which means we both have to get wet ... you see what I have to put up with ???

Today is also the best day of my life.
It's the only day I truly have. I don't have the day that I move south, or the sunny day from last week. I just have today, and it's the best day of my life. I'll be making the very best of it, because who knows... it could be my last... and if today is my last day, it doesn't really matter what the temp. is outside, I have the capability of enjoying this day no matter what my surroundings are. I'm alive. I'm sober. I'm free = It's the best day of my life.

I heard a long time ago, that even if you feel sick or 'not well' ... just keep telling yourself all day long that you feel better, I feel better, I feel better, and then usually by thinking that over and over and over, you actually start to feel better, making it an otherwise poor day ... it's like the quote 'People are about as happy as they wish to be.' ... Our day is what we make of it ... good going Tasha ... you are my 'rock' ...

Someone told me you can pick any word and repeat it over and over to get rid of a headache. Watermelon is always my word, and sometimes it actually works... lets me know how much of my troubles are just amplified by the "sickness" that's just all in my head. LOL

Comedian Ghallager, the one who came up with 'sledge-o-matic' did a piece one time that went on to explain that the 'pleasure center' of the brain that made sex so enjoyable was located right next to the pleasure center for chocolate ... so he said if you're absolutely not 'getting any' tonight, have a 'Snickers' ... ... ... so I keep a rather large stock of chocolates ... LOL

There are a lot of cool things about being up North, a long tough winter really does make you appreciate it when the nice weather comes along.
I'm in the car a lot during the day, the sun really screws up traffic/blinds people and I end up having to turn the AC on in the car even though its 40 degrees outside.
Winter sports don't are not existent, no sleds or toboggans, or ice fishing. If you hit your golfball in the water it won't bounce across to the other side :)
