Thank God work is done now at a meeting. Reading working with others page 98 hits home. Grateful to be sober. Justadrunk I think my wife did hit bottom this week. I'm still gonna give her space and not force conversation. If she wants to talk so be it ill be courteous and supportive. She is in good spirits right now. I had enough of obsession and compulsion for the last 24hrs. I don't wish to take it back. Happy new year.

Acceptance is the answer. Any time and at all times. I read your previous post and felt trongly that your wife was indeed hitting bottom and that her issues would be better addressed by ACA and not Alanon. I have many more thoughts on the issue but of primary importance is how you are handling your recovery and it sounds like, at least for now, you are in the right place doing and feeling the right things. You will be amazed at how this program changes you, the way you relate to others, and the way you live your life. Glad to hear that you are giving her space and thereby freeing yourself to focus on the problem in the mirror. That is the person who most needs your help right now. I am looking forward to getting to know you and watching how your life progresses as you embrace sobriety. Enjoy your now and have a great New Year's Eve.
