Today is what matters. The future isn't here yet.

When we first heard the slogan One Day at a Time, it probably didn't mean much to us. But our program friends were quick to offer it as a solution to our incessant worrying about the future. Now we appreciate the relief that comes with living 24 hours at a time. It makes any situation manageable. Our fears about the future simply disappear, and when the future arrives, it too is manageable.

Living just for today can still seem overwhelming if we forget to seek our Higher Power's help in our activities. That's the key to ultimate serenity. That we can live just for today with God's help is the program's most important message -- one we have been chosen to receive. What lucky people we are.

My companion is *God. Together we can figure out what I should do in every situation I face today.

Good Morning,

I woke up this morning and needed to find a daily Reminder of - just what you wrote, it put me on the Right Track.      THANK YOU

One day at a time, One Hour at a Time and sometimes One Nono of a Second at a Time.

I think I need to go into a drawing Program and draw a  picture of a Half FULL Glass, cut it out and dangle it off my forehead, with a caption that Reads:  "CHOOSE"

Sometimes we can be inspirational and then there are times when we need inspiration.

I need to make myself a Gratitude List, not just have one hanging out in my thougths.   Thanks, and have a Great day.

Toni
