Oh, I get it, I'm old ... LOL ... what about the kitchen clock, the coffee pot, the stove, the microwave ...
all in the kitchen/dinette area ... then the living room clock, the foyer clock, the bedroom clock, the clock
in the shop, the clock in the garage, the clock in the den the clock on the deck outside the alarm clock,
and the clock on my desk ??? then there's the car and truck clocks ...

Without daylight 'savings time', there wouldn't be this problem ... and are we really 'saving' time ???
I know, we're supposed to be saving energy somehow, but they have a hard time convincing me we are ...

It's a conspiracy I tell you ... LOL

Ahhhhh, my watch, I forgot about my watch ... SEE? I'll be lucky to get all the timepieces changed by the time it's time to change back over ...

Yes...this is the hardest day of the year for us in AA...not Christmas or New Years...This is the only day with 25 hours. LOL.

Edit - Maybe the setting back makes it 23 hours.  Confused.  All I know is I keep thinking it is later than it is so the day feels longer.

Okay, Pappy has a problem and if Im not careful, itll become a resentment

I woke up today and found that I was given an extra hour of time this requires me to go and change all the freakin clocks in my house after which Ill spend the next two weeks coming across clocks, watches, radios, etc. that all need to be changed

Who decided I needed an extra hour today ??? Am I saving time for something more important ??? Will I use this gift of extra time wisely ??? Are the ones who gave it to me going to let me keep it ??? will they take my extra time away from me whether or not I want to keep it or not ??? What if I dont want to save it ??? What if I want to spend it on something frivolous ??? what if I dont have it when they come for it next Spring ??? If they take it back anyway, am I in debt for one hour and how do I earn an extra one to pay my debt ???

Just who has the authority to mess with nature ? I think the government is out to get me now my medicine is off schedule and Ill probably die (just kidding)

You do realize that Ill reset the clocks, thinking Im done, then the next meeting I go to, Ill be half way to the meeting and have a split second of panic as I see the time on the dashboard of the car then Ill just about wreck my car trying to figure out how to reset the damn thing while driving then in a couple of weeks, Ill need to get in the truck to go to Lowes or Home Depot and Ill experience the same panic when I notice the clock on its dash and Ill about wreck a second time, why, cause the damn clock in the truck doesnt reset like the one in the car

One year I never changed the one in the car cause I didnt want to spend the time looking in the manual to figure out how to do it all over again

Okay, as you might have guessed, Ive spent my extra hour for the rest of the year here, bitching about having to change it

For now? Im even!

Pappy

P.S.   Betcha y'all think your problems are small now, ... huh ?

Thank Ben Franklin. (ps old man, you only need one clock. In the bedroom. Cell phones reset them selves. Leave a post it note on the dash board)

My God Roger, you have a lot of stuff. Whatever happened to "keeping it simple"? There is another word that goes on the end, but you already have one resentment too many. So I'll leave it at that. Now I need to change my 'one' clock. I'm laying it on pretty thick, aren't I Roger.

Ya know ? ... maybe it's just the morning 'fuzzy' brain, but I didn't 'get' what David was saying at first ...

about the "other word that goes on the end" part ... NOW I get it, the 'S' word ... LMAO

Okay, no resentment, I accepted the I was the 'S' word a long time ago along with being an alcoholic ... LOL

and for you guys that recommend 'one' clock ... am I just supposed to ignore the 'built-in' clocks that are in the

Microwave, coffee pot (timer), oven, car, truck, and den microwave(which I forgot to mention) ... Just kidding ...

I was feeling a little 'frisky' when I first posted the 'Time Piece' ... even though it is somewhat of a 'pain-in-the-A**' ...

Okay, have your chuckle, on me ... mission accomplished!!!
