There are meeting scheduals listed. Are you AA, NA, Alanon, etc?

If you need to discuss something and need help soon, then Private Message me and perhaps we can figure something out.

You don't have to go it alone.

I dont htink i have made myself clear.........I am an alcoholic,  I have been chosen by my home group,  to write a new meeting format (what the chairperson reads during a meeting) I thought I would go online and do some research,  to see possibly what other groups outside of my area are doing,  I am having some trouble finding this info.  All the help I could get would be appreciated!

You might try aa.com. They may have printed meeting guide materials.

ohhh..  yeah..  I guess we did not understand.  hehehe.  hmm  a new format.  I would call AA headquarters in New York about that. I am not sure how flexible AA is about formats. Here's the number:  212-870-3400   it is an extension of the main number and just tell them what you want and they will connect you to the right person.

love in recovery,

We read a staement at the beginning of our home group...

" THis is an open meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous, we are glad you are all here, especially newcomers. In keeping with our singleness of purpose we ask that all who participate confine thier discussions to thier problems with alcohol."

There's also a stateement for closed meetings, but I can't remember it. The cards can be ordered through AA world services literature.

I have gone to meetings in lots of different areas and I have found that formats change from meeting to meeting, there really isn't a set procedure, it's more what seems to work for the group.

Hope this helps out a little.

Cheri
