Love the BB and would be there for it. A chapter a week sounds good and spend the week discussing until the next chapter. I'd like to see the discussions start on the week end as that is when I have the most time, selfish alcoholic I am.

Suggestion: Listen to the Joe and Charlie Big Book Study by "session" on XFM and discuss each "session" in a thread, it's been awhile but there are 21 sessions or something like that, it's bite sized pieces and they are "The" BB Study, so if for example Steve, you wanted to "chair" this, each week you'd post a link to this weeks session, and everyone would have a week to listen and discuss

Example:

Overview http://xa-speakers.org/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=13

This weeks lesson: http://xa-speakers.org/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=151

My experience with this was blah blah I I I me me me, and I especially related to the part with the small furry animals and blah blah

Sounds good. I suggest we start with the entire Doctor's Opinion (Step 1, Part 1)

Why not start at the beginning? They lay it out really really well Steve, everything ties in

Sorry to come late to this. Lin's comment reminded me. My home group is a BB study group. We do the whole book twice a year. We even start with reading the preface and forwards. That might seem a bit pedantic, but when you read them, you see even more what that an amazing Fellowship we have.

I didn't get anything to comment on in the first session, but has the whole idea been dropped?

If listening to the Joe and Charlie tapes isn't working how about just reading and discussing?  I would like to see something happen on the BB study.
