Hey AA Community. I am new to this Online aa community and would love to introduce myself. My name is Joanne I am almost 8 months sober and looking for some extra support. Glad to be here and would love to make some friends.
Welcome Joanne...I'm a member from the Pacific. Been sober for awhile with a home group of AA by the Bay just outside of Hilo. Glad to have you in the family. We can keep each other sober and clean and sane. ((((hugs))))
Welcome Joanne. Glad you found us. Were kinda nabors i live in carson city nv and been in AA for 13 years now sober for five. Would love to make a meeting in The bay area. I spent the first few years of the 80s in the bay just runnin a muck. It was still good times then. Glad your here.

Im new to sobriety in the fact im doing it with a sponsor before. i had a year dry time. now today is day 7 and i feel stronger now then when i had over 365. sponsorship!!!!
I, too, tried AA with myself as the sponsor ... It didn't work out very well ... then I tried AA with a sponsor, but I felt I knew better than him ... then I tried AA with a sponsor and started listening and doing what he suggested ... that's when 'progress' began and I was able to then put a few good sober days behind me ... Amazing how that works ... LOL
