Today I had a conversation with a person that dismissed me 19 years ago, because of personality differences. He nearly destroyed me and destroyed a company that so many of us had worked so hard to build. I felt so much compassion for this individual, because he is spiritually sick. I was sober in AA and the steps of recovery had taught me not to resent anybody and I had diligently practiced it. As a result my own company thrived, because God had blessed it.
Today after all these years, my God has given me rest, because I built my 2 children who are blessing me and another son whom God has also given, blessing me also. We had chicken burgers for supper and laughter and fun for dessert. But I tell you brethren, a family that prays together stays together. My wife and I are enjoying extended periods of peace and serenity.
Let us pray for those who harm us, because I can tell you, it's not people that are evil, it's their deeds. I have learned to separate the person from the deed. All people are God's children. No one one is evil. I have worked with some of the worst criminals in the last 24 years and I have made every single one, submit to God, through prayer. They have had such profound personality changes, that, one would hardly believe that these were hardened criminals locked up by society. Many have bawled their hearts out in my car, after I interceded for them. Human beings have hearts of gold, if we only look for it.
