Comprehending Serenity...Meditation that does wonders.

Great stuff Brian. I can relate to everything you just said, especially that serene peaceful feeling you talked about. I can't remember that feeling early on, but after 2 or 3 years it dawned on me; the only way I can feel grateful is to be grateful, which I now am. So keep that momentum going, okay; you're due for a breakthrough.

I found something in the promises that is really good for the alcoholic mind...

It says that we will comprehend the word SERENITY, and we will know peace...

I recently meditated for a while in a dark room on what the word means and everything it entitles.

What I found was an immediate way to start winding all the way down to a sane peaceful place, unwinding all the way down to Serenity...

I found my way down to a sane place in my mind where everything is in one piece, where my thoughts are all in one line...

Serenity is like being a young person near a campfire before the alcoholic problem has struck.

I just thought I'd share this on the MIP site cause were supposed to give away what we receive...

A really good meditation:  Lye in a quiet dark room and comprehend the Word Serenity...  Comprehend everything it means and what the word entitles...

Quiet...  Peaceful...  Aloof... No worries...  Calm breeze cooling you down...

The times we knew long ago...

NOTHING on the mind, just focusing on the word SERENITY...  Unwinding all the way down to sanity and a lost world...

Thanks, try it.

Closer.

I heard once that serenity was being at peace with God....I liked that. I guess you could call it being on the beam....It's not something I have all the time...But when I do it is wonderful. Just have to keep practicing and making spritual progress...Because I love it!
