I was recently on vacation and walking the boardwalk down by the beach with my girlfriend. The entire time we were looking at the restaurants and shops and such. She noted one restaurant in particular was selling hot wings. I noticed that same place had a Yuengling sign that I had never seen before. I didn't even notice the hot wing sign. This disease never stops and neither should the recovery process. Thanks for letting me share.

glad you are here and thank you for your share!   when new in recovery, all the bars and margarita signs really jumped out at me while walking to the post office. it was a scorcher of a day, so i stopped at a jack in the box and picked up a strawberry milk shake.  the rest of the walk was much more comfortable and easier on my brain.  keep coming back

When I'm in the zone - handing it over and trusting my HP - then I don't notice anything like that.

When I grab hold of the steering wheel and let my head have its freedom to resent or self pity it seems like everywhere I look is an ad or sign for alcohol.

Funny that, innit?
