I think there's an invisible principle of living...if we believe we're guided through every step of our lives, we are. Its a lovely sight, watching it work.
I was a terrible friend before coming to AA. I can't believe the ones that hung on did. I never called people back. Never showed up for anything. Never did anything but sit around and drink.
I'm a better friend to my "old friends" and I'm making new friends now thanks to AA! I've made some real true connections lately with some other woman in AA, and I am so grateful! I really needed help, and I really needed friends! There are lots of people here to listen and it find it soooo cool having connections on here with people in AA from all over the world. It's a really cool site - but not a total replacement for meetings.
