What started of as a little spark 19 years ago with my friend, has spread so rapidly. My friend was 14 months dry and flirting with the idea of going back. He met with me and asked me to help him. We revived a small group which had died and started a family recovery workshop. Life was tough for all of us. But intensive step work and Big book study were the order of the day. Egos were bruised and resentments were busted. Newcomers began to join us and we started to grow. It is impossible to quantify the number of people that got well. I met some of them today and we had a little nostalgia. God had done a wonderful work with us.
