My little princess is asleep a couple of feet away from me right now.

I'm glad I'm not too busy for her any more.

Thanks.

Thanks, breaks my heart to know of the times my children had to sit around and do nothing because I was too hung over to move.

AA has given my family peace of mind. This brings about happy times with my children and grandchildren. Thank you for the reminder of the many days at week-ends and school holidays when I all I wanted to do was sit at home and drink ! Then it became 24/7 .......

I intend to keep giving my family peace of mind that I am doing the right things today. When I was sectioned in the hospital my daughter said to me, mum you do not know what its like for us to wonder when we might get a knock at the door to say you have killed yourself.Drink is killing you ! a few months later she held me in her arms and said she had her Mum back. And today she say's she has never in her life seen me so well and happy.

I could never give all that up for another drink. And that's why today I stay close to AA because I want to live, I want to have a life.

My family are proud of me and I am proud of myself.
