Hi,
Me again. Adding a bit. Excerpts from how Toddlers see the world.

If it's mine it's mine,
if it's yours it's mine,
if I like it is mine,
if I can take it from you it is mine,
if I am playing with something ALL of the pieces are mine,
if I think it is mine it is,
if I saw it first it's mine,
if I had it then put it down it is still mine,
if you had it then you put it down it is now mine,
if it looks like the one I have at home it is mine,

if it is broken it is yours.

Best,
Rob

My selfish, self centeredness is what kept me sick for so long.
The booze was merely a symptom.

Our book tells us that selfishness is the root of our troubles. We must get rid of it or it will kill us.
( pardon me , as Im misquoting )

When I read the book, let it sink in, listen to the teachings of my sponsor, work the 12 steps and apply them to me, then Im sober, and Im alright. Its really that simple!

I have heard in meetings, that the Alcoholid is entirely stuck on self and cannot think outside of themselves. I love what the person above posted.

I am trying to get outside of myself, but it is hard when all you do is think about yourself every since second of the day!
