biggrin  Hi to everyone reading this. As my subject suggests, I'm new to sobriety, 2 months sober.....yay!

I can't believe how well I feel in such a short time. I love AA and everything about it. I do what is suggested by my fellow members and it's working.

I've got dry on my own (14 years) only to go back down the slippery slope but it was only when I was  hospitalised in August that someone suggested AA. I went to a meeting the night after I was discharged and have not looked back.

I have witnessed a miracle...........there's no other explanation. I'm about to embark on step 4 and with the help of my sponsor and my Higher Power I am quietly confident about it. Everything is very new to me at the moment but I can't wait to keep going forward and learning new things from my new friends. I go to 5 meetings a week and am met with the same love and support at each one. As the saying goes 'it works if you work it' and it sure does.

Regards, suba

Aloha Suba and thanks for bringing that message of hope and recovery to the MIP board.  It is supportive of all others here who lean on each other for their sobriety.
