Just got on after a few days off the computer...seems there is alot of anger floating around. Please remember what we read before each meeting

..."If you want what we have and are willing to go to any lengths to get it, than you are ready to take certain steps. At some of these we balked, we thought we could find an easier, softer way..."

I am what I am, an alcoholic in recovery, No one will ever convince me that AA is not the answer, so I don't try to convince others that it must be for them. When they are ready they will find the answers they are looking for. We don't have to defend our way of life, we only have to live it to the best of our abilities.

Love to you all, cheri

Cheri, Glad you are back, I hope you were having fun while you were away.

You are right, I try to remind myself dailey that we carry the message of AA, not the alcoholic.

Thanks for the input.

After being in the program for a while, some of us feel we know much more than the average member. But self-importance helps no one. What is important is working hard to stay sober. By taking care of ourselves, we quietly set a good example.
We need to carry the message and offer help, but it does not help to set ourselves above or apart.

*God, help me to learn my weaknesses and be humble.

Thanks, Cheri, for helping me to remember what IS important.

Love you

Doll
