One of the greatest things about those on a recovery program is that, even on a forum like this we can feel the power of these individuals. There are many such people over here who live on a truly altruistic plane. They give so much of their time & effort.
I just want to say to all of you that I am truly blessed by you.
Thank you for the power of your sharing, through this medium. You have bridged continents & time zones. This platform has provided a place where people can share anytime and from anywhere in the world. It's truly the language of the heart.
You are a huge part of this site gonee, and quite an example for me. It is because of folks like you, who command a greater knowledge of this program (and simply work a better program than I do) that pulls me more toward the center, in most cases, through not a lot of effort on my part. I can say this about at least a dozen others in here, you know who you are. Unlimited gratitude for all of you.
Dean--you may be a bit "too" humble!! Like Gonee--and many others here--you are a great example of how to live sober and live well.
I for one find the online support, sharing, lessons learned etc. within this, and a few other, sites just as crucial to my day-to-day sobriety as my F2F meetings.
About six months ago, for good reason, I had to bail from another site that was near and dear to me. Adding this MIP board to my dance card has turned what began as a painful loss into a growing gift, via the quality of recovery undergirding this board.

To be able to reach out for help at any time day or night,to spiritually share in the lives of others who can each identify with the devastation of our disease and continue to bring hope to each other in an honest caring manner is truly a blessing and so much part of my daily journey. The relationships I have made here from all areas of our planet is wonderous and teaches me and reenforces the therapeutic value of one helping another.Thank you also MIP(John) and each one, whether your just coming in the door or been around for a minute. My heart is smiling and my spirit enlightened...To each other we can continue to be visions of hope and examples that the program works especially to those who may still be sick and suffering.WE DO RECOVER!!!
