Call your local AA hotline. There will usually be some sort of BBQ or other event going on.

When all else fails, I know I have a good sober environment in my own home, and if nothing is happening out there that I want to join in, I can be content to enjoy a nice, quiet day off. And of course, there are always meetings, even on holidays.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I had a wonderful day, despite my noisy neighbors(firework fiends). A day off followed by a great meeting. I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday as much as I did.

~God bless~
